Dont know if this will help anyone next season but I tried it and it worked.
I was trapping in a new pasture that yotes were crossing but I was unable to find any fresh scat. I did come across some old scat and took it back to the fur shed with me. I placed this scat in a glass jar, added some yote urine, added a little glycerin, and a couple drops of asafoetida (spelling?). The liquid covered the scat in the jar. I let it set for a few days, then made a flat set with this "magic scat" in front of a clump of grass. This "magic scat" looked to be very fresh as it was rehydrated by my concoction. Needless to say, this trick will be in my bag in the future because it did catch fur.
