saw a post recently,where i can't remember, on how to make bait from cubed beaver tails. all i can remember about is i want to make some, it's one of those age things(forget my name sometimes) can anybody help? would sure like southernlures input

OK stan to the beat i can remember take the beaver tail cut it up in small cubes then put in a jar or bucket it will make a black oil that will come to the top. you draw this of this is the lure it will make oil a couple of times from what i hear and when its done you can add a preservative to the tail thats left and use it for bait

No water is added. As Scott stated it wil make more oil after the draw off the oil the was produced the first time. Dont throw away the beaver tail after your done getting the oil.
