How long have you been useing this lure (this season, 3 years, lifetime, etc...??) and are you getting fox or yotes? Or both?? I'm only curious about one ingredient (and I'm not takeing away from what works for you), just wondering why mineral oil and not glycerin? cdr

CDR I just made this about 1 month ago. I have taken 2 fox with it. Why the Mineral Oil? I have about 3 gallons of it on hand. As I already had the oil here and paid for I use it.

Thats great! When I think of canines, I think of yotes due to the fact that I dont have fox to trap. I have never used mineral oil and thats why I asked the question---not to judge you.....

CDR, the biggest reason I use Mineral oil is that I can buy it in the local store. I don thave to order. If I run out in 20 minutes i can be back in business.
